Taplets’ GONE GREEN recycle program – We support earth sustainability. Along with the ever-increasing technology-use one of our major resources that have become exhausted is metal. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, the recycling of scrap metal significantly reduces consumer waste and waste from mining virgin raw materials. It also keeps usable metals out of our landfills and from affecting our water supply. This program helps create jobs by having to perform the collection, sorting, refurbishing, reselling, and recycling, tasks.
We collect various recyclable trash/goods. We encourage individuals and businesses to participate in our program. Items we collect (working/non-working) are washers, dryers, refrigerators, automobiles, A/C units, copiers, cellular phones, ink cartridges and more. All pickups within our service area are FREE and we always show up on the designated pickup day. We will gladly pick up items from the following areas/counties:
- Wake County (Raleigh, Cary, etc)
- Durham County (Durham, etc)
- Vance County (Henderson, etc)
- Orange County (Chapel Hill, Hillsborough etc)
- Person County (Roxboro, Timberlake, etc)
- Halifax County Virgina (South Boston, etc)
- Alamance County (Burlington, etc)
- Pittsylvania County (Danville, etc)
